Investing in Indiana
Field Operations presence in Vincennes and Brazil, IN
Cable One has doubled down on faster internet speeds in its Indiana footprint (acquired from NewWave Communications in 2017). Cable One has planned investments of up to $60M over three years on network upgrades and other enhancements across the NewWave markets.
“As customers continue to stream, download, and connect across multiple devices in their homes, we know that speed is key in satisfying this growing demand,” said Julie Seff, VP of residential services for Cable One, in a statement. “Doubling speeds as well as launching Gigabit service will create more customer value and provide a superior high-speed internet experience for our customers.”

Being a strong local community partner is central to Sparklight’s mission and values. We have a personal stake in improving the communities we serve. Through educational programs and donations of time and resources, we seek to make a positive impact in the communities we serve.
Increasing Broadband Adoption:
Sparklight’s Digital Literacy Program
Sparklight believes strongly in improving education through the use of technology. While many school systems are taking big steps and working to give every student and teacher access to the technology and tools they need to learn, not all schools have access to funding to support this effort.
By donating Chromebooks to Title 1 elementary schools in our community each year, we’re investing in a generation of future leaders and helping to conquer the digital divide in schools that lack funding.
